The subscription includes print copies of the Fall TV Preview and Mid-Season Edition, and PDF copies of all five editions.

Baseline Intelligence's flagship professional research report series on the television industry, Primetime TV Insight brings industry experts Steve Sternberg and Shari Anne Brill's over 50 years of combined experience analyzing and reporting on television viewing trends, research, and programming to bear in a key new five edition report series.

The 2011 Upfront Edition provides a comprehensive look at what to expect from the 2011 TV Pilot season with in-depth discussion of the current state of the networks and their plans for next season. Featuring a detailed examination of each broadcast and major cable network's nightly programming with commentary on strengths and weaknesses along with suggestions for improvements, the report provides expert predictions on what the likelihood is of shows in development making the network schedules.

The 2011 Fall TV Preview Edition of Baseline Intelligence’s Primetime TV Insight, newly expanded to 160 pages this cycle, provides an in-depth look at the broadcast and cable television/video landscape, analyzes various programming trends, evaluates the impact of DVRs and video streaming on television ratings, discusses impending changes in research and how audiences are measured, and predicts new series hits and misses with expert insight.

The Median Age Report uses a key analytical approach pioneered by author Steve Sternberg that Nielsen has adopted as a standard metric. It analyzes primetime regular series median age trends on all the broadcast and ad-supported cable networks from 1999 to the present by age demographic down to the TV series level, looks at weekly time spent with video media for each age demographic, and analyzes live primetime viewing vs. time-shifted viewing by median age at the TV series level.

The Hispanic Report is a key new addition to the Primetime TV Insight report series.  Hispanic viewers and programming are an increasingly large part of the primetime television landscape and this vital new report provides an introduction to the market and culture with demographic, buying power, DVR penentration, mobile and smartphone stat information. It offers an expert overview of the Hispanic networks including coverage and ratings information, programming strategy, descriptions of new and returning shows, and much more.

The 2012 Mid-Season Edition provides a comprehensive look at how the broadcast and cable networks are performing during the 2011-12 season.  It covers both summer and fall original scripted programming by network and looks at reasons why some shows succeed and others flop.  The report contains an updated section on the impact of pre-season buzz over the past decade, and revisits the Television Value Index.

These reports are designed not only to provide pertinent information and insight into the new primetime television season, but also to include enough valuable trending information to serve as a reference tool throughout the year.

Subscribers will also receive additional primetime updates, media reports, and POVs throughout the year.  Additional PDFs are available for an additional fee.
